Great in cold weather - Armasight Apollo 336 1x50mm Thermal Imaging Clip-On System w/FLIR Tau 2

Works even in the Chicago winter. My connected garage is unheated, so I mounted the unit on an AR, and left it overnight. 18 below in the morning, and the unit fired right up. Video out worked well, output to my Panasonic Mini DV camera. Weighs just shy of a pound and a half, not bad considering all that's going on in this unit. Intrigued by the waterproof rating - 10 meters for a half hour... has a soft case, will probably opt for a Pelican or Storm case. liked the spacing of the controls.


Pros: Controls location, provision for external power supply
Cons: Soft case, but hard case is available
