I bought this thermal scope recently, already had several nights of testing and have no regrets about switching night vision to thermal. Unlike standard night vision, thermal units can work in total darkness with no ambient light needed. This means you also need no IR or anything like that. As for features - this Opmod Zeus 4 is loaded with them, still not being pricey, that entails digital zoom, selectable reticle and image palettes, and many more I can easily change settings according to my requirements and varied environment. The Opmod is on top again with a performance/price ratio. Besides, the device is really lightweight, so you will have no troubles carrying it several hours straight.
Cant help but say a few words about its appearance. I adore the tan color which is just jazzing the unit up! All together thats more than enough for hunters. However, if you prefer higher resolution and need longer detection range, I guess, you should better go with 336 or even 640 Zeus models.
