Battery life
This is a good product if you use it in a warmer climate. The price is very good and was looking forward to hunting with it. I found that the batteries do not last more than 20 minutes when temps are 20 degrees. I live in Northern Michigan.
Wouldn’t buy refurb/rearmed
I’m rating the optics planet refurb process. It didn’t come with all of the parts or protection on the glass. Pretty disappointing to order a thermal and receive it looking like it came straight off the gun without a part(s). Just made me lose confidence immediately.

Awesome scope
Just bought this and took it hunting. It's amazing. Rain didn't affect it, fog didn't affect it and neither did the early morning hours with sunlight. I saw perfectly up to about 150-180 yards and could make out shapes at around 350 yards. Great scope for the money! I'd recommend 100%.

GREAT THERMAL BUT BATTY LIFE IS REALLY BAD.
Got the thermal last month 8-2019 and used it on hogs hunt ( Great Thermal ), but batteries do not last long, U will have to carry extra extra extra extra CR123 for the night hunting. As always Optics planet got to me fast.

Impressive
Have not had the chance to hunt with it yet, but am confident it will work perfectly. User friendly and very easy to work with. One thing to think about is a target for sighting it in. Used a black target in the sun and it worked fairly well, till some clouds moved in. Have since discovered taping a toe warmer to the target works well. Can’t wait to put it to use in some hog’s.
Is quite interesting to check out your walls on a warm day and see where your insulation issues are as well.

Excellent piece of equipment
Absolutely love it! For the money, way better than I expected! Very crisp out to about 300 yards... white hot and black hot are fantastic! Extremely sensitive and identifies heat out to several hundred yards!

Armasight predator thermal
Picked this up on sale couldn't be more pleased so far. It is on the lower end of thermal scopes in price and is my first night product. You can see animals at night or day quite well got this for night hog hunting. For the price I feel it is a great entry level thermal can't speak to life of product but so far it's worked well and battery life is not bad at all. I would recommend giving it a try. As always optics planet is awesome and very price competitive

Awesome Scope
I bought this to help control the varmint population on my small farm. So far it has impressed me. Avg range of my shooting is from 50 to 200 yards. On 4 power at 200 yards targets are easily distinguishable but surrounding area is grainy. No magnification everything is crisp and clear. My only complaint would be the instruction manual that comes with it. Not clearly written and apparently the printer must have been low on ink because several pages are unreadable in places. I was able to figure most of its functions out on my own and what I couldn't I youtubed it.

- Clear easy to use. Great resolution on low power setting

- Poorly written manual battery life is short.

Awesome scope
This scope is easy to use and gives you a really clear picture,great piece . I would definitely buy another one. You can sight it in for three different guns with the three save features and the Zoro mount.

Good for a budget.
Very good optic for 100 yards and in if you are hunting hogs. Plus the price compared to other models is the lowest for great quality. I recommend using hand warmers wrapped in foil to zero it too. The menu options are easy to learn and use as well. If you are a first time thermal buyer, like me, this will do what you want and not break the bank.
