If you are not worried at maintaining your night vision after using the monocular then it is a great device. In my particular case it took around 90 minutes before my night vision returned to an acceptable level after initial use.
Pros: Very accdptible image
Cons: so bright it wipes out the night vision for the eye viewing through the lens
