If you guys are looking for a thermal monocular, I would strongly recommend to consider the one I’ve recently bought – Prometheus 336 from Armasight.
And yes, it was a bit stressful to spend more than 5K on optics, but after playing with it no regrets left.
The unit offers crystal-clear thermal images under any lighting conditions 24/7. User-adjustable image enhancement tools allow customizing the device to your needs. Optical and digital zoom give you up to 20x magnification.
What I also love about my Prometheus, that the batteries in it are replaceable, not built in as in some other devices I took into consideration. Just get a pair of spare batteries if you’re gonna use it for more than 4 hours.
Besides it is fully made in the states and manufacturer gives 3 years on the System & 10 years on FLIR detector warranty.
