You get what you pay for - Armasight Spark CORE Night Vision Monocular

This is a gen 1 night vision device. Its ok for a gen 1 and it is about as good as it gets in that class. I'm able to see pretty good with recognition out to about 40 yards. I ran mine during nautical twilight and saw much further. An added infrared illuminator adds to clarity. The reason the title states as it does is you need to spend near 3 grand for something you can truly "own the night" with. I should have spent around $2500 for a gen 2 at least. I found a use for my short range device. The controls are easy enough to figure out and the switches haven't broken or fallen of mine yet. Bright lights will ruin your device be careful its delicate.
