This is a toy and a bad one at that - Armasight Spark CORE Night Vision Monocular

I'm not a spec ops guy, nor do I have any real experience with NODS especially expensive ones. And although this falls into the budget category I still think you should get something for your money. To start off, if you don't buy and additional IR illuminating device then don't waste your time. You cant see anything without one. I couldn't see ten feet in front of me inside a dimly lit house. I tried all types of areas where there was an abundance of ambient light to a small amount and they sucked no matter what environment I was in. Hard to believe but I was able to see better without them. All they did was turn everything green, but did not improve my vision in-fact I think it greatly hinders it. In short, these are at best a kids toy, and if you are trying to use these in any serious roll, you will be sorely disappointed. Returned for full refund.
