This thermal was a great step up from NV. It was really easy to set up. I like the quick function controls and it is easy to operate on the fly. I use it for hog hunting and can identify hogs with little effort. NV has its place, but hunting hogs this is the ticket. It will give you heat signatures that would have never been detected or seen with NV. Staying on target after they run is much easier. It also aids in recovery of game.
