Great technology and well made. This model would be good for 200+ yard surveillance but not hunting. I recommend spending the extra money and getting one with less fixed magnification and more digital magnification options. If clarity to identify an object is needed you will need a higher pixel ratio for the screen... 336 or better... Not downing this product but recommending you do your research well before purchasing.
