Perfect timing! - Armasight Zeus Pro 336 8-32x100mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

I accidentally saw this unit here at the Optics Planet a while ago and it was what I call a “perfect timing discovery”, since I was browsing the web for a nice rifle scope for couple days in a row at that time. Before buying, I decided to compare this unit with one or two others. Must admit that Zeus Pro appeared to be out of the competition, since it had the lowest price and the highest magnification available in this category of weapon sights. Obviously, I had very high expectations for the scope. The first test showed that the unit is pretty heavy, but this is an easy to explain issue if to remember about the 100mm lens. Should I say the picture blew my mind? But I knew there was a way to improve it. So, I was really curious to check those offered enhancements and see whether the picture changes any way at all. The first option I checked is called “Digital contrast correction”. It makes the difference between objects way more visible and increases signal to noise ratio. Awesome thing! I still didn’t have chance to play with all the options and plan to do it shortly. Perfect job, guys!
