Does the job, but not great - Armaspec .223/5.56mm Gun Builders Lower Parts Kit

Here's the deal. The bolt catch, mag catch, and anti-walk pins are all good. No problems with them... The problems I do have are with the takedown pins, and the ambi safety. First the takedown pins... They are complete trash. Both were extremely stiff to the point where the rear pin would not move AT ALL, and the pivot pin got bound up after a few function tests, and then quit moving altogether. I removed both of them, and will probably throw them in the garbage, and replace them with some Strike takedown pins... Now the ambi safety... It's not horrible, but it doesn't have that nice, responsive click that you want from a safety. It's very mushy, and stiff at the same time, and doesn't give that nice audible click unless you really crank it... Given that I'm a lefty shooter cursed with the Devils Hand, this safety was my main reason for purchasing this LPK because it's one of the few out there that actually come with an ambi safety. I really wanted to like this kit, but honestly I'm probably going to replace safety with something else, and give this one to one of my friends... So that sucks.
