Use and deployment of the asp a50 - ASP Agent A50 Clip-On 19in Baton

I was skeptical about the A50. The weight and the clip was of a concern. After I received it and utilized it for a week I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase. It works as well as my original ASP, but as a plainclothes investigator it is perfect. The weight allows me to wear it with my suits and clothing without causing unsightly creases and bulges. The clip with its new design allows me to adjust the carry of A50 in a manner that makes concealment and deployment easier, although I wish it was made of the same material as the A50. The mainbody construction materials appears, so far, to be as good as the original without the weight. The A50 locks out solid and working in close quarters the pushbutton retraction allows disengagements without having to strike the ASP A50 on a solid surface as the original ASP does and gives me the ability to disengage without sacrificing officer safety. Again, I am more than pleased with this product.
