Built well, easy to snap open. I would recommend a bit of gun oil (or something similar) in order to twist it back to its compact state. Other than that it was ready to go. It's so much lighter than the steel batons, yet I still would not want to be on the receiving end of one.
Pros: will do the job but is lighter
Cons: haven't found one yet
