Big Daddy's Review of Athlon Optics Armor Cantilever Scope Mounts
I'm very impressed with this mount, given it's price point. Is it the best one out there, No it is not.
But for the small amount of money you pay for this, you are getting a good quality rock solid scope base,
and rings, for quite a good deal IMO. I'm using a very old TRUGLO, TRUE-BRITE 4-16X50 IR BDC Scope
I bought back in 2012-2015 (never used it) and I used the above Athlon Mount and I put this on a Ruger Precision Rimefire, in .17HMR
It's a perfect, and I mean perfect match for that huge scope. As soon as my cheek touches the cheek rest,
I'm in perfect alignment looking through the scope and all I have to do is lock on target and pull.
I don't have to move my head arms nothing, it's instant focus and fire, never had a gun like that.
Most of it no doubt has to do with all the fine adjustments you can make with the Ruger Precision,
and I'm guessing that's why it's called Precision because of the tiny movements you can make to the stock and cheek rest.
It looks to me to be about a 1/16" at a time. Fantastic scope base and rings, along with a great rifle.
