Okay-ish not worth the price - Athlon Optics Helos BTR Gen II 4-20x50 APRS6 Rifle Scope

I have had good luck with Athlon in the $300-$350 The Talos and Argos line were great value, but when step up to this price the glass is not that clear, eye relief is the same as the $300 range from athlon which are pretty good at that price but when they are charging $600 then i expect better more forgiving eye relief. Afternoon 4:00 pm or so when sun start to set it is hard to see well at 600 yards. Also has mirage at 500 yard so bad so that it was impossible to focus even with parallax adjusted to proper distance. MAybe it was a combination of shooting 40 rounds without letting my 223 rifle cool down and low light (not dark) condition and further distance but I was very disappointed in this product. Also It came without scope cover so not sure if someone bought it and return it without it because the box has a ripped. Will be contacting optic planet. Other than that all the knob adjustments are great and positive. I love Horizontal marking on the elevation turret so i know how many revolution to go up and down. But you get that on lower end one. This is by no mean high end but i expect more from $600. I would rather get a vortex PST gen 2 from Midway for same price.
