Cronus is just what the doctor ordered - Athlon Optics 4.5-29 x Rifle Scope First Focal Plane (FFP)

I was looking for a good, Durable, 1000 yard capable Optic for a 50BMG. I naturally wanted an Optic with quality glass, Illuminated Mil Retical, and in FFP, which were, of course, some of the most cost adding features in an Optic. After some time at the range, viewing through other scopes of some local shooters, a great deal of research, and weighing the usual checks and balances, for a happy medium of cost vs. quality I decided to take a risk on a little known recommendation. The Athlon Cronus, and I am so glad I did.
This Optic is built like a Tank, great glass, Retical thickness, and brightness is just right for tired eyes, adjustments are spot on, and of the most importance for a 50BMG shooter it stays solid with no Issues... For me personally, considering the Features, Warranty, Over the Top quality/Durability, and the Cost, as well as free next day air shipping from Optics Planet, it turned out to be the Holy Grail of Optics, and exceeded my expectations. I would most definitely recommend this scope for any 50BMG or smaller caliber. Money well spent without breaking the bank!
