UNIT IS REASONABLY PRICED COMPARED TO THE GARMIN. IT'S FAIRLY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND YOU CAN PROBABLY USE IT WITHOUT EVEN OPENING THE MANUAL. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SETTINGS THAT NEED CLARIFICATION AND WOULD RECOMMEND A QUICK READ BEFORE USING. I'VE YET TO COMPARE IT TO MY FRIENDS GARMIN, BUT BASED ON YOU TUBE REVIEWS IS WITHIN 10 FPS OF THE GARMIN. NICE HARD CASE FOR STORAGE WHEN NOT IN USE.
