Talos btr scope - Athlon Optics Talos BTR Gen II 1-4x24mm 30mm Tube Rifle Scope, Second Focal Plane

Very compact. Have it on a Howa 6.5 grendel for 50 yard swamp hunting. I like the lighted recticle knob placed on end of scope rather than with the turrets. Find it easy to access it. The glass is very clear for a Chinese scope and the 1x power setting is very nice, very nice. I find that the mil recticle is very easy to see and acquire for close end work. Now the part that I have concerns about is the vertices clicks that was necessary to zero the scope at 100 yards. Had to elevate 1 meter for a zero which left 1 meter of verticals adjustment left. Probably does not matter as long as you can have any zero. Contacted athlon and they said some scopes require extra adjustment and that it would work. If I had any problems just send it back for service. Sounds good so far. Will see how it works in hunting season.
