Great scope for the price - ATN X-Sight Night Vision Rifle Scope - 3-12x

Really theres only 3 issues I have with this scope and its minor stuff to me but may n o t be for someone else.First of all it does not come with a manual, only with like a quick setup guide. I think that for the price one is paying you should at least get a manual and not have to go online to print it. Secondly, now this is probably my fault for assuming, but I thought the day scope would be like a regular scope and the night vision would be the part that gets turned on to use with the batteries. This is not the case. You have to turn on the scope to use it during the day as well as night. In the stand, this takes up a precious few seconds & you cant keep it on too long if youre gonna be in your stand several hours because batteries will die. Its good idea to have 12 batteries if you're going to be in the stand for a period of time that goes from day to night. The scope takes four batteries but the night vision uses more battery power than the day so you can't really keep it on so you got to keep shutting it off and turning it on unless you keep backup batteries to be able to keep it on for extended periods. Also, if you are in an especially dark woods area like I am, you are much better off using the IR along with the night vision. Even with the moon, the IR makes a huge difference in clarity. The IR has its own set of batteries and you should also have spares of those.my third issue, is that the 3x12 scope which I have does not come with a lens cover. So we need you to be very careful with the lens when you're not using the scope or walking through the woods. Everything about it is great otherwise.
