WYhuntman's Review of ATN 1,000 yard Auxiliary Ballistic Laser Rangefinder for Smart HD Scopes
I bought this rangefinder because I was tired of trying to guess how far coyotes were at night. When I first got the rangefinder it was extremely easy to install. But once I tried pairing it, that’s where all the frustrations came. I did everything I knew to do, while following the instructions. It said it was paired, but wouldn’t work. I swapped the battery (C2 3.0v) after talking to ATN Customer Service. And went to Scheel’s to see if they could help me. It worked on it for 2 hours by myself and then another 1.5 hours with the Scheel’s associate. I finally called the ATN Customer Service again and asked if he could walk me through the steps to get it to work, before mailing it in to get a replacement. He did and 30 seconds later, everything worked! What the instructions don’t say, is you have to pair it once, which shows you the Bluetooth icon in the top right of your scope view, then pair it again the exact same way and then you will get a fully colored circle with a Bluetooth logo in the middle, then you are good to go! I used it the other night on multiple sets, and it works great and takes the guessing game out of yardage at night. ATN Customer Service is rock solid, they go above and beyond to help you and will replace anything that may be broken without questions asked!
