Defective out of the box - ATN Binox 4T 640 2.5-25x50 Thermal Binocular

I received this product today and followed the unpacking instructions. Made sure battery is fully charged and turned on the camera. In few minutes the screen shows a distorted picture with a red ERR message. Searched the small user guide that was in the package and the ERR was mentioned but recommended recalibration. Did that and few min later the same thing. This time the camera was frozen and none of the keys worked. Searched online and the only document close to this issue was for other ATN products. However, didn’t work for me since it required turning the camera off and mine is frozen. Left message with ATN and nothing. The camera is now in the box while on and it’s getting hot. I suppose I keep an eye on it to make it doesn’t start a fire. So much for a $5000 camera.
