Nice system - ATN Thor320 1x Color Digital Thermal Image Weapon Sight

Even though this unit is the "lower cost" version of what ATN can create, don't sell it short. The unit is very capable for hunting and security applications. The microbolometer core performs as advertised with mulitple targeting and color field options. Overall, well worth the purchase, just pricey. I would like to see a core that can run off of AA batteries like the PVS-7 NVGs, but the Thor power supply apparently needs a ton of power to run properly, thus the Lithium Ion battery requirement.
Pros: Great object discrimination. Stable. Fast refresh rate.
Cons: The unit can only be used incrementally or the operator will quickly use up batteries. Can use only Lithium batteries and not AA. Rechargable Lithium batteries may damage the unit.
