Thermal is good, clipon bad - ATN TICO 6 1-15x50mm 640x512px Thermal Clip On

I bought this item right from ATN with the hopes that it would “clip on” to my day optics as advertised. the thermal unit itself is pretty good. The accessories and customer service are zero stars. The monocular eyepiece is blurry with no means to adjust the focus and customer service is inaccesible. All they have is an AI chatbot that is useless. I also purchased the 44mm and 50mm scope adapters at two hundred dollars each. These are made by Rusan-Mikron and are well made. The problem is that neither one fits any of the 44mm or 50mm day optics that I have. They are too big and do not adjust to a small enough outside diameter for Vortex or S&B scopes. Hopefully I will eventually get ahold of a live person at ATN and get a refund. The scope itself is pretty good, but the battery life is no where near what they advertise.
