Low video noise in low light conditions - ATN X-Sight 5 LRF 5-25x UHD Smart Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube w/ Gen 5 Sensor

I've got 45 years experience with night vision devices as a helicopter pilot. So I know a little about various lighting and weather conditions and how it effects the performance of the devices. The current night vision system I use in my employment costs about $17,000. each.
I had recently purchased a Thor5 rifle sight for my personal use, and was so happy with it I decided to buy the ATN XsightLRF 5-25. to complement and compare it. Comparing a $17,000. military device to the ATN XsightLRF is apples to oranges but I'd rather have the ATN Xsight. The digital low light scopes performance has come a long way. They do a great job with low light and have very little video noise without an active light source. With a light source they work just like a day scope. I love my new ATN Xsight.
