alsolis's Review of ATN X-Sight-II 3-14x SmartHD Day/Night Rifle Scope
IR night vision is a useful tool when used within it's limitations. Be advised that the image quality will never come close to glass optics or Gen3 Intensifiers. Think of it as a digital cameras with a tiny digital viewfinder. If you can accept that, then you won't be disappointed!
There are plenty of reviews, on the web, about this product, so I will not re-hash the same.
Features are so abundant that you will most likely not use most of them. I keep mine plain and simple so as not to confuse myself. (Ex: turning on the ballistic calculator will throw of your shots if you have the wrong distance inputted or forgot you turned it on for a different shot! I just leave mine off and use the correct guestimated elevation and windage.)
The features and programming are so abundant, IMO is what is causing the software glitches being complained about in the web! I haven't had an issue with mine since I hardly use any of the said programs. I do have 3 different zeroes for 3 different rifles programmed in. And it seems to return to the correct zero, when I switch it around to the different guns.
