As expected, it's a big enhancement for my night vision (Night Shadow gen 1) purchase. This IR illuminator will be a permanent part of the night vision device.
Pros: Simple and significantly increases range (& view) of Night Shadow (Gen 1) device
Cons: Not sure how to compeletely turn off besides diengaging battery.

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
