Ir illuminator for night shadow - ATN 450mW Super Long Range Night Vision with Infra-red IR Illuminator

As expected, it's a big enhancement for my night vision (Night Shadow gen 1) purchase. This IR illuminator will be a permanent part of the night vision device.
Pros: Simple and significantly increases range (& view) of Night Shadow (Gen 1) device
Cons: Not sure how to compeletely turn off besides diengaging battery.
