I was shocked to find that my adjustable sight pin hood fell off while stalking through woods. I cant imagine a reason this shouldn’t be attached or why it should so easily pop off. A lot of stuff can easily grab it and knock it off when it’s darker, opened all the way, and therefore you are less likely to know it fell off.
