Didn't realize how useful this would really be. - Axeon AM3 8x32mm Monocular

Got this as a gift last Christmas from the fam. Wasn't too excited about it at first as it was a tad big for a monocular. But the LED light on the bottom makes it useful after dark. I hardly ever use the monocular and light at the same time. I take this with me when hiking/scouting/hunting and it's been great for both the monocular and the light. If nothing else having a back up light when on the trail is good insurance for getting back to the truck. The light is stinking bright, too. Has a square shaped beam which is a bit odd, but it will go from spot to flood easily. Did I mention it's bright?
Monoculars are great, especially when hunting. You don't have to worry about accidentally pointing a gun at a human. Despite its size it isn't very heavy and packs away well in a jacket pocket or day pack.
