I got this item a while ago and just recently finally got the thing mounted on my M72B1 RPK. We ended up mounting it on a AK Master Mount and they are a little thicker so it is off centered for my rifle by a centimeter or two. When we initially mounted it there was play but all we needed was to tighten a screw and the thing doesn't even budge anymore. The length of the weaver rail offers a the ability ot mount a wide variety of possible scopes.
Pros:
- solid base
- Stable and robust
Cons:
- May need adjustment
- Doesn't work with all side mount
Best Used for:
- AK & AKM type rifles
