The mount screws into the bolt face on the left side but means any optics you use are not bore-aligned. (Your sight will be about an inch to the left of the bore) Extremely awkward, and made zeroing very difficult. B-Square had no instructions for sighting adjustments, let alone even let's you know this sight will look VERY weird on your Puma. If you're looking to scope your Rossi, consider drilling and tapping or finding an older Scout model. This mount had a good concept but unfortunately came with poor function. Other owners complain that lack of heat treating causes zero retention for them as well.
