Most Helpful Negative Review had to cut off buffer tube once installed
Do not buy this product. Was extremely tight on bushmaster mil spec tube, once installed with force, could not move at all!! Waste of $100. Will not be purchasing anything with the name brand on it again!

Must Have for Any Setup.

Having lived the years of GWOT and still active, I have been so accustomed to this buttstock that any personally owned rifle feels empty without it. The extra width on the buttstock for cheek placement for better sight picture feels more natural with the extra 123 storage capacity enhances the warm and fuzzy feeling.

B5 SOPMOD Stocks and this one is the best one yet. solid, quiet, and comfortable stock, and the qd

I have 3 generations of SOPMOD Stocks and this one is the best one yet. solid, quiet, and comfortable stock, and the qd mount finaly locks in place where the early sopmod needed a modification to add a qd swivel mount and the second had a qd mount that constantly twisted up. I have gone from my earliest CAR15 with a metal stock my my favorite modern AR with the B5 SOPMOD.
Pros:
  • solid, good cheek weld, no rattlle, locking qd mount, storage. a fancy slod under the butt pad for a tool but why not.
Cons:
  • you have to buy it because its better than what you are using now.
Best Used for:
  • Any AR

Thought I’d give the B5 Systems Sopmod stock a try and was disappointed. The Magpul MOE SL-S stock is superior. So if you’re contemplating which is better to use, I recommend going with the Magpul.
