I've used Barnes bullets for over 20 years hunting deer, wild boar, as well as some large African plains game. Except for end-on shots, the bullets always exit leaving
devastating blood tails and the animal is easily found (if it goes anywhere at all). I feel that a Barnes bullet of lighter weight outperforms other brand's heavier bullets. I've found that seating the triple-shock bullets a bit deeper than other designs often helps accuracy.
