Good entry level scope - Barra Optics H20 4-12x40 Rifle Scope, 1in Tube, Second Focal Plane

Initial impressions were that this scope is very solid, nicely finished, has clear glass, and I was happy to find one with an adjustable objective in this price range. Zoom worked smoothly, windage and elevation adjustments seem accurate and repeatable. The adjustable objective was very stiff but I thought it would loosen up with use. It did not. I contacted Barra and they immediately replaced it. The new scope worked fine right out of the box. Anyone can have one slip through QC occasionally and I was very happy with their response to my issue. Overall a very nice scope with 75+ MOA of windage and elevation, good eye relief, plenty of zoom, and a useful drop compensating reticle.
