Mississippi hunter's Review of Barra Optics H30 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope
Got a Barra H20 3-9X50. Looked nice, solid and glass seemed OK for price range.
Mounted on a 30-06 in nice Leupold mounts, bore sighted and took to the range this weekend. Fine at first. Adjustment nobs not great but OK. Made adjustments after 3 shot group, made two more shots then noticed reticle was canted about 35 degrees, even though mounts still solid. Reticle ring broke loose -- could see daylight where it had detached.
I had high hopes for this scope, but breaking after five shots is very disappointing. Emailed Barra support this morning but have gotten no response after several hours. We'll see how their "Diamond Warranty" works.
