Unbeatable price, great features - Barska 1-4x28 Mil Dot Reticle Rifle Scope

The rules for high power competition have changed to allow optics, which is boon for aging eyes. The bullseye pistol guys have been doing it for years. The problem is that the optic has to meet NRA criteria - 4.5x maginification max, and objective lens 34mm max. There's not many scopes out there that fill the bill for NRA high power and the ones that do cost around $2000. This was the only one I could find at a decent price. It has a mildot reticle which is fast and easy once you're used to it. Beats cranking on your windage knob and then you forget how many clicks you had on it. The only issue is that the parallax is set at 100 yards, so you have to be sure your eye is centered behind the lens to get parallax free at greater distance. But for the price it is well worth it. Hey, I'm no master class shooter anyway, but at least now I can make a decent showing.
