We live in a condo on the 32nd floor of a building on the Chicago lakefront. This scope is easily moved around, fits on our windowsill, and is EXCELLENT for looking at boats and other activity on lake both near & far!! We can see boats in the harbors near us, watch the activity in the Chicago Harbor Locks & Chicago river as well as Lake Michigan, and also see all the way to the shores of Indiana & Michigan on a clear day. We also enjoy watching the commercial freighter traffic that is several miles out in the lake.
Pros: Easy to focus quickly. Easy to change tri-pod & telescope settings. Excellent long & short range vision.
