Nice scope for the money - Barska 3-9x42mm Contour Rifle Scopes w/ 4A Mil-Plex Illuminated Reticle & Range / Trajectory Adjustment Rifle Scope

The best thing about this scope is the short profile. It fits nicely into a Beretta CX4, which has fixed sights and will only accommodate a scope 10" or less. I did not buy it for its illumination feature, and will probably never even use that. However, I have turned it on just to see if it was any good, and it seems to work as advertised.

The windage and elevation knobs are difficult to turn with your fingers. In fact, you have to use two hands to make adjustments without turning the entire knob to different range setting (those who buy the scope will see what I mean when they zero it in). The knobs look as if they were built to be adjusted with a small tool, but no tool is included in the package. This is a small gripe, the pros of this scope outweigh any nit-picky cons. Buy it.
Pros: Low cost, short length, includes scope mounts
Cons: windage/elevation knobs tough to turn, no tool included
