Legacy Reviewer's Review of Barska 4x21 AO SKS Electro Sight Rifle Scope AC10808 Rifle scope
This have the perfect size and a nice reticule, fit and finish looks excellent at first glance, feels solid, but thats where the good points ends.
I had a hard time zeroing my weapon, at first I thought something wrong with the weapon, again, frustrated I went home and inspect my weapon carefully, did not find anything loose.
Then I found a major design flaw of this scope while looking thru it while adjusting the objective. I notice the whole sight picture moves, a lot, when the objective adjuster hits the stop. Then I proceeds to find out why it is doing that.
I took the outer ring that is secured by 3 tiny screw on the objective housing, then remove the objective ring, it became clear why this scope is so worthless. the objective lens housing is free floated with lots of play, in order for it to move forward and back to adjust parallax, but there is just too much clearance and play between the tube and the objective assembly, every time you adjust you change the lens position. which changes zero.
even if you do not touch the adjuster, the recoil of the rifle will be enough to shift it ever so slightly. I have confirmed this does not hold zero with a know good scope. Better off using the iron sight.
I really like the looks and feel of this scope, but as it is, its worthless, a 85 dollar piece of paper weight.
Pros: Great concept
Cons: Poor Design
