Works as well as it was intended too - Barska 4x32 IR Contour Scope w/ Mil Dot Reticle

Not a bad little scope. My daughter loves the red/green illumination and it was the perfect size for her Crickett single shot. Once the scopes sighted in, the adjustment knobs can be removed with an Allen wrench and reset to show zero. My only complaint is the thickness of the retical. It holds the gun back just a little. When shooting golf balls at 50 yards, the crosshairs just about cover the entire ball making it difficult to pinpoint the center of the target. It must have something to do with the illumination function requiring the crosshairs to be fairly thick in order to light up properly. The battery life seems to be good as she forgot to turn off the retical and a week later it still had a faint glow. Without being able to truly compare reticals with other scopes to find a thinner crosshairs, I'd buy it again if I was looking for a compact scope.
