Cheap, but works
Was looking for one of these to help with seeing the paper holes and didn't want to spend big $ on something I don't use often. Optics are very clear for an inexpensive piece of glass. Very lightweight, portable and easy to set up. No problem seeing the .22 cal. holes @ 200 yds. On the downside, eye...

It is really hard to use for spotting 22 targets at 100 yds. not a clean crisp focus. Not really useable!
Pros: small
Cons: not clear enough to spot 22 targets at 100 yds

With respect to all the fine stores that sell this product, I would have say, this scope is not the ideal scope for the would-be range guy or hunter. And while some may say, "Good for the price", it really isn't. The most important factors are Focal and Clarity characteristics. If you can't see a clear image, what's the use? Its clarity is best at 20x. Beyond this,it gets cloudy and dark. The tripod is fine for table use in my opinion. I am going to sell mine.

Good scope for the money but was wanting something for target shooting. At 300 yds the bullet strikes were hard to see. Other than that, great scope.
Pros: inexpensive, easy to use
Cons: not that good for distances over 300 yds

I wouldn't use it to hammer nails.
I bought it to take on an antelope this past August; I should have left it home. I received it the day before I left so I didn't check it out before getting to North-West Nebraska(1700 miles one-way). I took it out of the case and it was the worst glass that I have ever put my eye to. Seriously, save your aggravation and buy a good scope with glass that has some sort of quality,. I ended up using a Burris compact spotter that I use for scouting in New York.
