I first bought this optic for my 12 gauge it worked fine I then changed it to my AR initially I had trouble with it holding a zero until I noticed on the right side of the optic there is a tiny tiny set screw that is there for after you zero it in find the smallest and I do mean the SMALLEST flat head screw driver you can find and tighten the set screw for the elevation because if its the least bit loose when you fire your weapon the recoil will bump the elevation little by little with each shot making it not hold a zero make sure the set screw is tight and it will hold a zero fine hope this helps.. PS funny none of this information is in the manual lol
Pros:
- Great sight lots of options for reticles
Cons:
- No information in the manual about the small set screw that needs to be tightened down for your weapon to hold a zero trust me it was a pain in A$$ and I wasted a lot of ammo until I figured it out
Best Used for:
- I've used mine on my 12 gauge no problem and my AR with no problems
