I have tried this on three long guns: .22, 9mm, 7.62x39 - after 1-3 shots it's dead. I change the battery and will work again. Worked on a pellet gun! It is very limited for the $, The optional reticlas are nice along with the brightness settings. Easy to use...there are better options.
