I have a red dot/magnifier on my AR so angling these was a perfect set of back ups. Was just going to get some mounts and use my old iron sights but these were MUCH cheaper. However my front sight screw came over tightened so it would not flip open. Simply used a screwdriver to loosen it and fixed it with no problems! These are metal and are pretty solid, they will definitely serve their purpose very well
