dw's Review of Barska Multi Reticle Electro Sight with Red Laser
Opened box and read the user manual. Mounted sight using large hex key. Zeroed the laser to the sight using medium hex key. Zeroed the sight base (which also moves laser as it is mounted in such a way that it goes along for the ride) to my irons by superimposing the laser at 50 yards with large hex key. Wondered why they sent the small hex key. Took it the range to shoot 7.62x39 and noticed the sight moves (this is what people hate about this combo sight). Discovered I can wiggle the windage quite easily. Went back home. Read the manual again. Wondered what the small hex key was for (again). Discovered the small hex key is used to lock the sight base after adjustments so that it does not move (see my photo). THIS STEP IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE MANUAL OR ON MFG's WEBSITE. Dialed it in again.
Went back to the range and had some fun ringing steel and exploding water bottles at 50 and 100 yards. It was rock solid for 80 rounds. Great combo sight with a terrible user manual.
