Legacy Reviewer's Review of Barska Naturescape Waterproof 20-60x80 Phase Coated Spotting Scope w/ ED Glass AD11110

I've owned 5 other spotting scopes going all the way back to a Bausch&Lomb Discoverer. I wanted to try a scope with ED glass so I thought I would give this scope a try. First off this is a BIG scope and heavy. Color contrast is equal to any $2000-$5000 that I've looked through. The down side is my scope would not focus clearly above 30X. It's best focus was at 20X and progressively lost the ability to focus as the power was zoomed up. At 60X the scope was useless. To sum it up, it's a big, heavy 20X spotting scope. I know that buying low end priced optics is a crap shoot. Some are going to be good and some not so good. Had my scope focused clearly uo to 40X I would have given it the highest rating. Who knows, the next Barska Ad11110 might be as good as the scopes costing thousands of dollars. You just never know until you look through the scope.
Pros: Good color contrast
Cons: Very large and heavy
