I've been a binocular enthusiast and amateur astronomer for 30 years. So when I spotted these binoculars with an ultra-wide field of view, multi-coated optics and Bak-4 prisms for only a few dollars more than an entry level pair ... I had to try them. I've owned them for several months and they compare very favorably with other binoculars I own that cost hundreds of dollars more ... nearly identical image sharpness and contrast! The 7.6 degree field-of-view easily encompasses the stars Bellatrix and Betelgeuse (7.5 degree separation) in the constellation of Orion. All the major optical aberrations are well corrected with curvature-of-field being the most noticeable beyond 60% of the field-of-view. You would need to spend well over a hundred dollars to find another pair of binoculars that includes all the optical features found in this pair. They represent great value at a great price.
Pros: Great wide-field multicoated optics with Bak-4 prisms
Cons: Useless neck strap, not waterproof or fogproof
