No quality control. - Bates Footwear Men's GX-8 Gore-Tex Side Zip Boots

This is my third pair of these. I only use them in the winter for the Goretex linings. The 2nd pair velcrow that closes the flap over the zipper came off both boots and my zipper on my left boot lost 4-5 teeth. I've tried everything I can to get this pair broken in but they are considerably narrow and stiff. I'd rather have spent my money on the Danner stiker bolt or the Rocky S2v.
