The tube is longer than 6 5/8" past the receiver. It's more like 7 1/2 - 8" past the receiver giving the overall length around 12 - 13" from the trigger.. The build quality is high, but with ATF Form 4999 coming out this will give you one or two more points and with the Gearhead Tailhook Mod 1 brace will make your pistol an SBR.
