Not very good for photography - Bushnell Discoverer 15-60x60 Spotting Scope 781700

My intent was for some stylized photography. I find this item has significant softness and chromatic aberration rendering it close to useless for getting good shots. It blows things up huge, true, but the resolution is so bad, its equivalent to taking an average digital image and massively blowing it up in Photoshop.

Bottom line -- if you want to take a marketable photo using this sort of equipment, there is no substitute for an expensive scope.
