Check the dimensions and make sure it is what you want. The actual glass of the magnifier is about .25 inches in diameter. Very small. With my glasses this magnifier was hard to see through and use.
Pros:
- Good 20x magnification I guess
Cons:
- Difficult to focus and see through

Optics Planet doesnt really say what the dimensions are of this loup. It is tiny. You need a loup to see this loup. The focal length is very short as well. You need the loup right against your eye and also close to what youre viewing. Considering how tiny the loup is, it makes for a very clumsy tool. I bought the 20X. It was a big disappointment considering how tiny it was.
Pros:
- So small its not a choking hazard

The Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet Loupe magnifier is an excellent optical device from a well known lens maker. I use it for maintaining the points on my darts. It provides an excellent view of the condition of a dart point.

This loupe is literally no bigger than my little fingernail - about 1 cm diagonal. Could be useful for a mouse, but I was expecting something about 3cm like another one I have that is 10X magnifier. It actually gets lost is the little bag they send it in. I wish there was some way to see the dimensions before purchase. This one will get returned!

This is a wonderful loupe and the one I like to offer my customers who want the best. I offer a less quality loupe for the customers who don't want to spend the extra money, but for the discerning botanist this is the loupe they choose.

You cannot go wrong with Bausch and Lomb offerings. This product is exceptional. It's small, well made and the optics are excellent. Product design is much better that similar products I've owned. Look no further!
Pros:
- smart design
- smaller than competitor's offerings
Best Used for:
- Gunsmithing
- coin collecting

Achromatic, distortion free optics of this magnifier is superior to the cheaper versions I've used in past. Not as bright and depth of field is less than my Zeiss magnifier, but is smaller and fits unnoticed in a pocket. Also the B&L is less than 1/4 the price of the Zeiss. Overall an excellent magnifier.
Pros: Good optics

This is a nice, simple little pocket lens with good quality. The lens cover is on a firm hinge, which keeps the cover in place in my pocket. And the magnifier shows clear, bright images with no notable distortion.
Pros: Small and good quality
Cons: None

Bought this as a gift for an amateur rockhound/prospector. It is a lot better than what he was using before. I've used it some, and I'm impressed with it.
Pros: Works exactly as advertised.
Cons: None. A little clumsy to use until you get used to it.
